This ongoing series of paintings takes up the framework of the book as a site of thinking, investigation, and encounter. I depict gridded pages; grids, like language, systematize and quantize infinities of space and thought. Within this Cartesian plane, I introduce chance and moveable elements. I make my own paint out of various metals, and the paintings are magnetic. The paintings are also marbled.
